LATEST FEATURES FOR AT&T VIDEO RELAY SERVICE
AT&T Video Relay Services offers you these exciting features through
our unique software called VSoft. Read about our new features and then
make a call and try them!
VSoft is new software that offers the following features:
Faster connections to the Video Interpreter
because it eliminates the need to do licensing verification.
Our Xpress VRS feature will allow you to copy
a phone number from a website or web page and launch a VRS Call
by simply clicking the Xpress VRS button on your toolbar. This feature
eliminates the tedious steps of writing down the phone number, accessing
the VRS service, and entering the number in the appropriate field.
Xpress VRS also offers a benefit for VCO Users
too. VCO Users will be automatically prompted to provide their
VCO number before the call is processed. This can make your call faster
by eliminating the need to check the VCO button or to notify the Video
Interpreter of the request to use VCO.
Resize the Video Interpreter's window with a click
of a button. The window size options that you can choose from
are: small, medium, large and full screen.
Our Jump to Chat feature can save you time during
your call. When you are using the full screen mode for the Video
Interpreter's window, this feature automatically takes you to the
chat box when you begin typing your message. When the full screen
Video Interpreter window detects any characters being typed, it will
resize automatically and bring the text-based chat box to the front
of the window.
The Hold-n-Back feature is great for people who
love to multi-task. When you make a VRS call and are placed on
hold, this feature allows you to minimize the VSoft windows. You are
then free to browse the Internet, respond to emails or work on a Word
document. When the voice caller becomes available, the Video Interpreter
will activate the Hold-n-Back feature, which automatically returns
you to your original VSoft window. To alert you that the call is back
in progress, the outline of the Interpreter's window and the Self
View Window will turn red.
